Plagiarism Detection Policy
Teología's plagiarism control procedure involves the following stages:
In the instructions to the authors, the requirement of originality of the submitted papers is manifest.
At the same time, the submission of unpublished papers is an exclusive requirement for the acceptance of originals.
Authors are also required to explicitly mention sources in all citations, in accordance with the journal's rules.
Once received, the papers are checked by Turnitin's anti-plagiarism software “Similarity”.
The Similarity Report generated by Turnitin Similarity will be analyzed by the reviewers and editors of the article and the journal.
In case of detecting any trace of plagiarism or self-plagiarism the articles will be rejected and the necessary measures will be taken according to the Malpractice Policy and Article Retraction Policy of the journal.
